I think for NOW it is time to channel aside frustrations and take this game by game. That starts with a win on sunday. Here are my thoughts....
- Ronnie Brown will have a breakout game. The texans d-line stinks as do their linebackers. My take on Ronnie is that once he gets a clearing he is tough to bring down. He often struggles at creating a big run in traffic, but here is a game where our o-line will perform better and I think we will see plays we saw from Ronnie in the KC and Buffalo games last year. I predict 125 yds and 2 TD's and his confidence will skyrocket and his season will take off from there.
- David Carr will have a great day. Our glaring weakness against Houston is going to be our secondary. Andre Johnson will burn Will Allen all day long and Carr will put some great throws on the money. The key here is I do believe we will absolutely stop their run and eventually the Texans offense will run out of steam as we start to wear down their O-line. I think though the Texans will put up 20 points, so that means we better score.
- Culpepper will have more time so this will be a true test of where he stands right now. If he cannot get passes down the field to Chambers, it is time to bench him. He is going to have a chance to make plays and win this game. I dont think he had much of a chance in the last two games.
