London is a very good talent who simply got caught up in a numbers game. The 6th and final WR spot essentially came down to him and Sinorice Moss. Both had pretty even camps, and Moss's 2nd round price tag is what worked as a tie breaker. The Giants are deeper at WR than we probably have ever been in the franchises history and he simply was the odd man out. London was very well liked here by the players and coaches, hes a huge target, flashed some serious ability at times. Eli Manning has complimented his approach to the mental side of the game in the film room, meetings, etc. Tom Coughlin praised him for playing through a shoulder injury during this pre season

He shows flashes. Had a terrific run after the catch in Detroit in pre season game #1 and another good run after the catch in the final pre season game. Those who attended training camp on a daily basis spoke well of him.

Drops have been a problem in the pre season, and he had a costly fumble in the final pre season game.

He is a high energy, fiery type of guy. I would say he has a very good chance of competing for time in Miami this year. He has ability. Lapses in concentration some times have hurt him. But hes a good kid with raw ability and you cannot teach his size

The Giants really wanted to get him to the practice squad but we all knew it was a pipe dream, he was bound to get snatched up and he did

Thanks giant fan...i like what iam hearing, watch out earnest.

I'll also add that the Giants thought long and hard about keeping 7 WR on the opening day roster this year and keeping London, something they've never done under Coughlin. But with Tyree on the PUP list scheduled to be activated after week 6, if we kept London it would have given us 8 WR at that point. They simply could not do that, there was just no room for him. He was behind Plax, amani Toomer, last seasons 2nd rounder Steve Smith from USC who was huge for us in the playoffs. Domenik Hixon who has 4.3 speed and has had an awesome camp and also returns kicks for us, Rookie Mario Manningham who they just drafted in the 3rd round....... It basically came down to him and Moss and though the battle was close if London was the 2nd round and Moss was the undrafted free agent i think London would have been kept.

my thoughts?

good luck to you and your giants i hope they kick Dallas back to the stone ages.

Cool info, thanks man. I'm excited. Well, excited as one can be about a player on the bottom of the depth chart.

London is a very good talent who simply got caught up in a numbers game.

Despite today's signing of DE McDougle, many Giants fans are still in mourning and moaning the fact that London didn't make it back to our practice squad, where he also spent last year.

London had a great camp and was great in the PS games until that one drop last week. He's a beast for a wide out and really fun and exciting to watch play. Unfortunately, NYGs are loaded with talent at WR and someone had to go because of the 2 spots needed for ST with Tynes down.

While I am glad Moss was given another chance after his bad luck the past two years, I was also really rooting we'd keep London. So, if he had to go to someone, I'm glad he went to the first team's pick off the waiver wire. Just shows me we Jint fans aren't the only ones to realize how talented he is.

Congrats, Phins fans. Our loss is your gain. Looks like I'll be tuning in your games this year, because London is just too exciting not to continue to watch him play more.

Last year we had to give up Ryan Grant to Green Bay because of the talent and numbers at RB. Now he's an NFL star. Watch for the same to happen with London in Miami.

Man i wish jets fans had more class like giants fans but hey thats why there always the 2nd team in new york/jersey and can kiss goodbye ever winning another suerbowl. Giants are the deepest at WR in the nfl and with us having first dibs on waivers is a good thing for us to get young talent. He'll be our 4th WR unless he breaks out or our coaches like him alot & move him up.

Thanks NY Giants fan for the report and jints88 for having class.

I dont think London will be anything more than a 4 reveiver on this team. I expect him to contribute a little and show some flashes. Hopefully, in the future, he'll become a star.

Yeah, thanks to NY Giants Fan and jints88 for the kind words about our new WR. He sounds like what we need... I hope he reaches his full potential with us.

Congrats again on last year's championship. Not only did you indirectly do the '72 Fins a favor, but you became the only team to beat a previously unbeaten opponent in the world's biggest game. No one will ever be able to take that away from you.

Thanks for the compliment, Aqua and all. I'm sure there will be more Giants fans joining your board soon. London has a lot of fans. (While you might question the class of the Jets fans, I'd say the worst in the NFL have to be the arrogant Cowpies fans who talk the worst smack on every other team's boards in the NFC.)

While London will be your 4th, he'd probably would have been our 7th if we could have kept him. However, remember our top three wide outs, Plex, Amani, and Smith, were all injured in PS and didn't play until the last PS game against NE with Plex still not in a game until this Thursday. Also, Dallas has lost a lot of depth at WR with injuries already. (If London had dropped to them, we Giants fans would be in even deeper mourning about our loss.)

So, give London a chance to learn some of your playbook, and I bet he's in for 3 or 4 WR sets this season and if someone gets hurt, which may be likely, you'll see more of him, and you won't be disappointed.

Dont worry. He'll get his chance when hagan craps up the place.

What's not to like about London?? He's 6'4 1/2" 210 pounds, athletic, has big hands and runs a 4.5 in the 40. He has some great attributes to work with. WR Coach Karl Dorrell has to love the signing.

good to hear we might actually get some talent off the heap. To the giants fan thanks for the support and im sorry you have to let the lousy jets borrow your stadium. The giants are a class act while the jets are losers and bums who cant even afford their own stadium.
