I think the high percentage throws were partly because of Jimmy Garappalo's limitations in the deep game.

Perhaps Tua will be better in that regard. It was definitely a strength for him in college.

Judging by the number of adult film stars he's dated, I don't think he has any limitations in the deep game

I wonder if coach McD will try moving Hunt back to Right tackle, then using a smaller quicker right guard?
IMO Hunt thrives in the run game and can struggle in pass pro. Makes him kind of a questionable long term option as Tua’s blindside protector. Who knows, maybe McDaniel can bring in someone who can actually coach our young guys up and he will be fine.

That is hopefully the plan A true OL coach. Maximize what we have, plus add a vet OL or 2 then rock & roll!!

He has a vision and a real plan. Something none of our HC's has have in decades

Just about every new hire is selling their ideas, and dreams. To say that no head coach came here without a vision, and a real plan is to speak highly in hindsight terms. Everyone that came to this team had a big plan in their own mind. Executing, and results were the let down for almost all of them except Flores, which won 20 games in the last two seasons he was here.

Exactly right Danny!!

That's why this is different than any hire since Saban. Jimmy came off name, Wannstedt got hooked up cuz Jimmy's mom died, Scam Scameron because he held OC title for Martyball, see Joe Phailbin too. Sparano was Parcells boy RIP, Gase is responsible for Mannings entire career stats lol, and Flo cuz of Bill. Mike is the creation of the SF offense mainly the Shannahan offense, but the Yale guy made it fresh and innovative with creative spacing.

We've had noone like this, maybe ever. Amazing stat I read the other day that miami hasn't had a top 10 offense since 1995!! 30 years what a joke. Mike will change all of that with the SYSTEM he's bringing.
