There hasn’t been much to be happy about for the Miami Dolphins so far this season. The team sits at 1-2 and the season is on the line Sunday against the Jets. There have been plenty of players who haven’t shown up. Actually, most players haven’t shown up. If anyone is able to find Cam Wake, Olivier Vernon, or any guard, please let us know!

1- MATT DARR
Surprisingly, the Dolphins have only five three-and-outs this season. They have punted 14 times which is middle of the pack, but rank near the top in most of the other punting categories.
Matt Darr, who made the team over Pro-Bowl Punter Brandon Fields has hit the ground running with the Dolphins. His average punt of 50 yards is third in the NFL while his net gain of 45.7 is fourth in the league.

2. Rishard Matthews
It only took two offensive coordinators and four years for Rishard Matthews to finally get some snaps with the offense. To say the least, Matthews has taken advantage of his time on the field. In the first three weeks, Matthews has played 133 snags and had the second most snaps among receivers on the Dolphins in the first two weeks.

3-NDAMUKONG SUH
The Miami Dolphins defense has sucked. In the frustration of watching this live, I have found myself asking “Where is Suh!?” over and over. In reality, Suh has been dominate up front. The issue is that the lack of edge rushers and other teams using quick passes has made it seem like Suh hasn’t been the guy he was in Detroit.
Suh has been winning against double, and sometimes triple teams and since the stats don’t show that, it is often overlooked. Suh currently ranks fifth among defensive tackles on Pro Football Focus and had a +5.5 grade against the Bills. Suh has stepped up, it is time for other players to do the same.

Once again a Philbin led team has the punter as MVP...

BTW it's a very short list of players who have played well this year, but Reshad Jones needs to be included on every one.

I am sorry, but no way in hell does Suh belong on that list. Jones and Landry definitely belong on the list.

Its so ****ing sad but the FIRST name that came to mind when I saw the title of this thread was his. I'm so sick and tired of this mess, but all I can do at this point is

Matthews, Landry, Jones and Darr are all I can think of after 3 games.

I agree that Suh has been good but we paid for Great.

He makes my top 8.

Jones, Landry, Darr, Tannehill, Matthews, Cameron, Suh, Grimes.

Jones has been all over the field.
Landry has caught everything except that first interception of the season in week 3.
Darr has a leg that make us forget about Fields.
Tannehill has played well in 5 of 6 halves this season.
Matthews has been putting up the numbers.
Cameron has been money when the ball is thrown his way.
Suh has been eating up the center of the line on every play. if we could only get better play out of our DE, LB's we would be fine on defense.
Grimes has been hard to judge because Mccain has been so bad.
