qb.....
NO answers for starting job?
i say NOT!!
these coaches are not rookies. i promise you, the trifecta
already has at least 80% convinced on who is going to be
the starter.
and for competitions sake, they are NOT going to tip there
hand to ANYONE before the pre season games are over.
and..... you cant argue with this: [qb coach jason lee on henne]
Q: What are your initial impressions of Chad Henne?
A: Chad came in here in rookie camp, we hit that third day install and he had a few mental errors. I said uh-oh he got overloaded. Now he’s come back since and he has done a great job mentally. He has not gotten lost. I thought he was going to and he hasn’t, which is a great credit to his study habits and how hard he has prepared for each and every practice. I think if there’s one thing that strikes me about this kid, one word, he’s just unflappable. You chew him out, ‘what’s the next play.’ He takes criticism, ‘you got it coach give me another one.’ There’s no sense of throwing anybody else under the bus. There are no excuses with him. He’s tough.
ISNT THIS what you want out of your qb? what more can you say about
a plyer than that? every attribute you want, he is showing.
all that rip he got after that 1st mini camp when he had to run the laps
on the last day, well, i guess he is over that huh?
heck, even the other qb's have mentioned his skills!!
henne IS going to be the starter of this team at some point. like lee
and saprano BOTH said, you dont know untill they are in game situations.
and that being the case, i wont be suprised if henne locks it up during
the pre season games. he may not have to wait untill october/november!
