1. Sign Brent Grimes to a long term contract immediately.
Brent Grimes was far and away the best defensive player on the Miami Dolphins this season, if not the best on the whole team.2. Find more playing time for Dion Jordan.
For a number three overall pick, only playing 29 percent of the possible defensive snaps is absolutely inexcusable for the Miami Dolphins coaching staff.

Having a talented pass rusher who can also drop back and cover tight ends is a very rare asset to have in the NFL and to not take advantage of it is just idiotic.

3. Find more playing time for Jelani Jenkins in passing situations.
One of the weaknesses in the Dolphins defense was pass defense from the linebacker position. Continually the Dolphins would give up first downs on third down passing situations from over the middle passes because of poor coverage from the linebackers. Ellerbe is better than Wheeler in coverage, so what the Dolphins need to do in nickel packages is have Jenkins and Ellerbe in coverage to maximize their abilities.

I don't blame the coaching staff for Jordan he just has to work hard to get better. They played him extensively when Wake got hurt and after that went to Shelby because Jordan wasn't ready.
The staff said why he didn't play more

meh.. they'll screw the pooch on that

1- Fix OL
2- Get grimes to a reasonable 2-3 year deal around 7 per
3- Figure out who stays and who goes at DT

1. Draft a true work horse RB(Carlos Hyde) - the running game must be more physical
2. Plug glaring weakness - Fix the oline with FA and draft, draft a replacement for Wheeler
3. Sign our FA's - Grimes, Solai, Moore, Clemmons and Keller

I heard rumblings all year about his lack of good practice habits and lack of working as hard as he should. Did anyone come flat out and say it? I do remember Jordan himself saying he needed to do a better job in practice and gaining the confidence of the coaching staff

There was a quote by the coach saying why he wasn't playing more

The Dolphins have to concentrate on greatly improving the running game and getting more physical in most aspects. You can't have success in the AFC East without being more physical -- Miami was 2-4 in a weak division this year. It was inexcusable to lose twice to Buffalo. I do agree with signing Grimes. The Dolphins haven't had a corner with that much talent and production in a long time.

Can Miami change a weakness on the offensive line to a strength, while getting at least slightly better on defense? That's the key to turning into a playoff team in 2014.

1. Rebuild the offensive line huge
2. Fix the Linebacking issue of not being able to stop the run. Big
3. Resign most of our free agents. Pretty Big
4. Find a running back who can run between the tackles.

@true number 1

You guys are still around? Receiver is done...

1)Sign Grimey
2)Fix The Oline in FA/Draft
3)Draft Seastrunk to carry the mail. This will make the passing game easier by having an effective Running game.

1-Protect Tannehill
2-Protect Tannehill
3-Protect Tannehill

Ok, for real we need to protect him a lot better or else, nothing else matters.

1-Fix the O-line
2-Get a hard nose RB
3-Get a real seam TE

Ozzy rules!!
