The old SOB has no reason to stay with our team. What the hell has he done?

Anyone could have taken a 1-15 team to the playoffs. Anyone could have made chicken salad out of our WR's. Anyone could have been ranked the #2 QB in the NFL.

It fascinates me that Tuna has not cut his sorry arse. Bring on Henne. LMAO!

Henne was an ASTOUNDING 7-11, with a QB rating of 74. He is the answer, WITHOUT QUESTION.

He has a very strong arm and will make Ginn All Pro. All he has to do is throw the ball 50 yards. Nothing else matters.

I guess everyone is getting a bit greedy in speculation, as opposed to appreciating what we have.

I saw all or QB's, and I am NOT selling Penny short.

Chime in with your two cents. I already have a Penny worth a whole lot more.

yea he had a good year but when in his NFL career has he ever had 2 good years or 2 healthy years in a row IMO he is only a decent QB he isnt a francise QB he has only started all 16 games in two years on him 10 years career

come on guys he was stuck on the Jets.
Most Qb's dont get hurt if they dont get hit.

Long,Smiley,Grove,Pickaguard,Carey = safety

When did Penny have two straight really good years, I will tell you in 2010 that it was 08 and 09, because Penny will have a better year this year than last. Penny could never remain healthy because he always got crushed, that wont happen this year. And we, of all fans should know better, how many times did we beat Penny when he QBed against us? what were we 1-10, something like that. Matter of fact if I am not mistaken, without looking up stats Penny has the best record against the Pats in the last 10 years (within the Division). To many selling this guy short, I believe arm strength issues wont matter when he has his timing down with Ginn and is hitting him in stride 30-40 yds down field.

damn dude lay off the exlax and look at other players who dont contribute as much Pennington is a good person and he did all he could for us. remember that he only had two healthy wrs in baltimore game .

Exlax? doesn't that make you poo?

And don't forget the sweetest part of Penny - that every time he makes a good play for us, we're sticking it to the Jests.

Henne is nice prospect and Pat White is an exciting prospect and will contribute in the cat but I think most Dolfans appreciate Penny.

Now, there was a thread about who-would-you-rather-have-between-Cutler-and-Pennington and that's a question which I objectively had to answer Cutler but c'mon, it's just a hypothetical and Cutler is about 7 years younger with great skills.

But hypotheticals aside, I am very happy to have Penny leading our team.

P.S. For all the noodle arm shots at Penny, he still threw more passes over 40 yards than Favre last year. Booyah!

I love Chad P and thank him for his leadership but let's be honest. Last season when he tried to go deep didn't you get nervous watching those wounded ducks flutter in the wind?

We've had so many of them this decade I've gotten used to it
