Carpenter losing his job, Henne continues to struggle in 2 minute situations, and Penny looks sharp once again.

Carpenter is losing his job.. but was just right of a 61 yard field goal.. meaning he had the distance, Last year the kid couldnt hit 50 yarders... sounds like his leg got stronger her needs to straighten them up now!!

I find it a lil concerning that the defense is getting so much pressure up the middle....guess it's a wait and see thing.

Oh there was quite a cross wind. Paul Soliai was leaving the field, he had TacoBell for lunch and just as the ball was being kicked you could see Soliai kinda lift one leg and......well you get the picture.:hi5:

There have been many players that look great in the offseason and are never heard from again. And the opposite happens. Getting to excited or let down by what happens in practice before we've even had the first preseason game is silly. Carpenter will get his head str8 thru the preseason. Henne is chomping at the bit for that starting job; I think he will look sharp over the next four games.
