"This is probably the best I've ever felt," Thomas told the Dolphins website. "Luckily for me, none of my injuries [ankle/hand/back] have been really chronic things...[This] being the first offense that I ever really played in, it feels a lot like home. I've been able to have success in it and I understand kind of what it takes to play at a high level. It's definitely comforting for me."

Thomas steps into Gase's offense as the top tight end following the departure of Dion Sims. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill also has Jarvis Landry, Kenny Stills, and DeVante Parker in his progressions, as well as adequate pass catchers in the backfield.
"I don't really have any handicaps, anything that will hold me back," Thomas told the Herald. "...I feel really good. I know that I'll be able to play at the highest level I've played in my career."
"...just to see the kind of athletes we have on offense, you start looking around that room and you start thinking about, visualizing those explosive plays," Thomas told the Dolphins website. "That visualization starts today. It starts when we all get together and start making sure that we know, hey, we have to be an offense that goes out there and puts our best effort forward every day. We're going to start here in this classroom, we're going to start here in these drills and then we're going to work to be where we want to be."

Julius Thomas, in this particular case, I'm from Missouri...Show me.

Definitely excited to see what he can do with Tannehill in this offense. He's optimistic, so am I.....

One can only hope he regains his old form. One thing I do know, I feel better about the team knowing he's on the roster than if he wasn't.

Yet another reason so many like the idea of taking Forrest Lamp is because of the addition of JT. Lamp damn near completes our offense and give us as much overall offensive talent as any team in the NFL.

If this guy shows up with the intent to dominate, he can do that, barring injuries. The ultimate beneficiary will be Devante Parker.

I know we all are having flashbacks of Jordan Cameron and the fact that Peyton was his quarterback.

We also have to remember who is other QB was lol Bortles is just plain bad.

With Stills, Parker, Landry, and Ajayi, Thomas should flourish.

The dude actually looks happy to be a Miami Dolphin. Add a guard ( Forrest Lamp lol) and we have about as talented a offense out there. Even if he scores 6-8 tds, that's an extremely successful season.

A lot of if's but the potential is there to be indefensible if a dominant LG is added in the draft.

Depth at RB and WR are there too. Aside from the talented pass catchers, the combination of Ajayi and Drake is scary stuff.

Sounds good just wary of former injured players, as they all primarily sing this same song and many times the injuries are still there, so let's hope this is a Kiko or Grimes signing and not a Cammeron or Foster.

If Parker, Thomas, and Pouncey can stay relatively healthy I believe we're a lock to become a top 10 offense. Grab a guard in round 2 or 3 and it's go time.

This might be Tanny's 30 TD season.

Cool.

But let's just say, if David Njoku falls to 22, aint no way in hell am I passing up on him because of Julius Thomas.

If they draft Njoku with #22, keep an eye on the 11 o'clock news...
