Tiki to Retire?

sucks for the giants but i dout he will retire after the season. he has a good 2-3 more years left in him.

also, B. Jacobs has been running very well for the giants this year. he cant catch like Barber, but hes a freak of nature that can run very fast and has the size to run over people. look for him to become the #1 guy if Barber leaves.

i rememberin hearin he said he was leanin towards retirement after this season on PTI before the season started. Tiki has always been a good guy and a great player. I think this is his last year no matter what happens. Get out while you still have your health.

why do i have feeling that dillion goes down with an injury and he becomes a pat for a ring :tantrum:

Lots of RB's have retired early....Gale Sayers, Barry Sanders, Terrill Davis. These guys take a beating every week and I would not be shocked to see Tiki retire. He has had a great career. Sometimes it is best to just call it a career and focus on your health and the rest of your life.

Tiki just said on NFL live at best hes going to play 2 more years because hes going to pursue other interests.

I think this is something we could see more of...

These guys take a beating every week. All they have to do is go meet Earl Campbell and they will realize "hell, I've got 10's of millions in the bank and I want to be able to walk when I'm done."

Look at Robert Smith. The guy was coming off a career season and was an unrestricted free agent and he retired.

I hope not man....I like that dude. What's up with these backs retiring when they still got some really good years left. I almost cried when Sanders retired. That dude could of had some records. And Tiki actually has a shot at a SB in the next few possibly!

I liked Jacobs during the draft. Last season, you could see glimpses of what he can do and now this year he's proving it. I always root for him whenever he's in there. He may never be a GREAT back, but he's a load and a freak (at 6'4"/ 245-50+)

He works for Fox and is pretty good at it even though he's on a bad show (Fox and Friends). I assume this is the other interests he wants to pursue.

living in new york its been great watching tiki. he's a complete back with the best attitude you could ever hope for. evrything for the team. accorsi is right. you cant look at the stats to truly appreciate ho0w good he is. the giants have a good back to replace him if he leaves in jacobs but he's the polar opposite type of runner. if a superbowl ring is possible for him he may come back though. its too early to say and that ring has been known to put your future plans on hold (bettis)
