there was always something i liked about tim.couch he can be a good qb in the rite system and i think he can be our future qb.we all know we need a qb but i don't want to break the bank to get one or give up too much for somebody that does pan out.this guy was a former first rd pick he has talent i belive with the rb's we have to take all that pressure off of him he can be a heck of a qb for us maybe even come player of the year as was tommy maddox one year.tim couch has talent he is still young i just belive he git a raw deal in clevland and we should give the hometown kid a shot. :dolphins:

he's a terrible decision maker and he likes to throw more ints than TDs... no thanks..

i mean, if the BROWNS give up on you....

In all seriousness, who knows? If Saban gives him the starting job, I would swallow my opposition of the decision and root him on. But I personally believe Brock Berlin has a better shot than Couch.

If Saban believes that he has the ability to be our Starting QB of the present and future, then I am all for it if it allows us to spend our 1st round draft pick and salary cap dollars in other need positions.

hometown kid? I was under the impression he was from kentucky. In fact, I'm positive he played for leslie county high school.

well i meant it's his hometown now he lives in fl.lauderdale and he said it would be the perfect fit for him and he is open to competion.. :dolphins:

Couch could be a good QB for the Dolphins with Saban teaching him how to protect the ball and be smart.:dolphins::evil:

Sure he can come in for a tryout, see how he does in preseason. He did play for an expansion team. But, I see dont see a good QB waiting to come out of him. He made horrible decisions, and there is a reason why no one is knocking at his door.

Note that this is the 2nd time we've worked him out and not signed him. Either he's still not healthy, or not exactly impressive.

I believe you are correct. Besides, why would any person in their right mind play college football at the University of Kentucky..................unless you actually live in Kentucky.
