What happened to him? He had to get surgery done on his throwing shoulder this past offseason, right? Did he decide to sit out just this year, or has he retired? His career stats are not that bad, especially when you consider how awful the Browns were. He showed a lot of talent coming out of college. He might be worth a look, especially if we decide to part ways with Frerotte and Rosenfels. He might never be a solid starter, but I would think he could at least be a solid backup...

I think that teams might think that he isn't ready enough to put on their roster. I'm sure that is shoulder is fine right now, but I guess teams are gonna wait until next offseason to sign him to a contract. I would only expect for him to compete for the 3rd QB spot. I wouldn't mind taking a look at him to see where he is at.

i dont know for sure. by my guess would be his arm strength hasnt came back yet. he barely had a arm to begin with, hopefully he will regain some of his arm strength, cause if he doesnt, he likely wont play another down in the NFL.

You'd have to think Couch could at least be a backup in the NFL right? I know he is hurt but dang, you'd think with all the terrible Qb play that someone will give him a shot this offseason. He was bad with Cleveland but they never really had a good team either.

Im not sure what happened, but I would never want him on my team as the starter. Backup wouldnt be bad though.

As bad of a QB as Couch was he exceeds the level of some teams backup. You have to wonder why teams haven't picked him up, I was thinking about it a few days ago that considering how poorly Sage seemed to do, we may have been well off signing Couch to be our backup for a year.

No offense but your season is over, you should just answer questions like can Cleo Lemon make an impact and how much of a bust matt roth is so far.
