Its all about the fresh young bloods, big names never worked for Miami, doesn't work anymore period. These young guy are hungry, energetic and very innovative. Stop with the "big names" crap and look at Washington Redskins before we become them. They always demand alot of money, power and control. Always ending up "burnt out" leaving their respective teams to start all over from the scratch ala Miami with Nick satan.

there is no evidence that young coaches, old coaches , college coaches, popular coaches or even homosexual coaches work out any better than the other.

give me one big name coach that have done crap in the NFL of late

And what do these coaches, along with Bellicheck and Coughlin, all share????

DING DING DING! Top 10 quarterback!!!

What did they win before said quarterback??

Bill Bellicheck, Bill Cowher, Tom Coughlin How is that?
What the heck is Bill Cowher doing in your list? He hasn't coached in 5 or 6 years now.

I posted in another thread that 9 of the 12 coaches in the playoffs were in their first NFL coaching stint. Only Patriots, Giants and Broncos have retreads. Ravens (John Harbaugh), Steelers (Mike Tomlin), Texans (Gary Kubiak), Bengals (Marvin Lewis), Packers (Mike McCarthy), 49ers (Jim Harbaugh), Saints (Sean Payton), Lions (Jim Schwartz) and Falcons (Mike Smith) all have first time head coaches.

for every one guy who becomes a no namer to a stud like a sean payton a mike mccarthy a mike tomlin who by the way all are seriously helped by having franchise qbs under center every week there's 30 damn no name guys who can't cut the mustard...and who here thinks ross is gonna find that needle in the haystack with the way he's doing things??? yeah right...

Moss is like Tomlin, Philbin and Carmichael like McCarthy I guess. One thing is for certain. Ross gave a clue that at least some of the candidates are still in the playoffs. That does narrow it down.

No idea what anyones sexual preference has to do with anything, but we've tried the sage coach several times now. Let's try the young coach, it worked out really well the last time this franchise went that route.

Jim Harbaugh. You know..... the big name coach we missed on last offseason.

The home field team always has an edge. Harbaugh is a west coast guy. I think that had more to do with anything than the state of the Dolphins franchise last year.
