Listen up fellow Fin fans, we are all bad tripping on these final candidates and please believe me when I impart to you that I feel your pain, but it's time to chill the fudge out. A couple of years ago, the hype was all over a college coach who's name I've committed never to utter again. He was the the popular choice, the pinnacle of coaches available, the second coming to the entire better half of the football world. Analysts, specialists, reporters, fans, coaches, everyone, and anyone was going goo goo gah gah over the man. I don't think I need specify what the future entailed. And I'm not pointing fingers because I, too, was enthralled with the man. But maybe it's time to go back to basics, to get simple again. This is why I believe the next coach of the Miami Dolphins will inevitably be Chan Gailey. I know, I know. I'm not excited either. But maybe that's the best thing because I was excited about the last guy, you were excited about the last guy, and how did that turn out? Chan Gailey is humble, he's intelligent, he's a winner, he's got ties to this organization and organizations who have won several championships. This is the safe choice and it may very well be the smart choice. It definitely isn't the sexy choice but I'm prepared to deal with that. Sexy made us fall in love last time and we all got our hearts broken. So take deep breaths, handle that stress, and stand behind your ball club. Together we'll manage.

Who knows, the fat chick could get us more than 6 wins........

I'm very much excited to get back to basics. I want Gailey. I mean, I don't want him over every other coach out there, but if that's who we've got, I won't be sad about it.
