If there is a game for the offensive line to step up its play, this is the game. With Ronnie Brown out for the season. It is imperative for them to run the ball not only out of the wildcat and pistol formations, but also run the ball effectively out of traditional formations for the rest of the season. Although I haven't seen us do this consistently, I believe they can do it. It's time for them to realize that everyone on this team has to do a little more to be successful, and it all starts up front with o-line.

Well, it was a tough one for our o-line, but they played tough. Even through the injuries on the line, we kept plugging guys in and they manned-up. I have to give Nate Garner some serious props. He played all over the line plugging in for injuries and looked pretty good. I watched him closely in the first half at the left guard position, and he was moving d-lineman out of the holes pretty well.

Our line did about as well as could be expected last night under the circumstances. Props to them. I just hope that all the injuries are just minor and the can all come back quickly.

I agree with that. I'm glad we have some extra time for our players to recuperate. 3 games in 10 games took a toll on our linemen.

it's a good to know you can count on Garner and Berger. i didn't think we had much depth along the OL going into the year, but i'm happy to be wrong on that.
