ok let me say that joey did not play that bad today decent but not good and cpepp is a nice player but neither player is going to win us a superbowl! these qb's have left there teams for a reason, they are not winners! hey we might make the playoffs with joey or cpepp in a few years but they are not going to give us what we need a ring! now my point we have not drafted a qb in forever! and 07 needs to be the year, sometimes you have to just suck it up give up the picks and draft that future star QB and the longer we put it off the longer we will be a bad/decent team, denver did it and so did the giants, this needs to be the year we draft a stud qb, hello brady quinn or the best qb out there!!!! I am tired of other teams castoffs!!!
 
And perhaps another DB, as Nick seems to like those and that continues to be a position of need. But we need to use most of our picks to address the needs in the trenches. Heck, I'd trade down or out of the first round if we could get a borderline Pro Bowl left tackle.
 
Why are we talking draft, there is still another 11 games left this season way to early to be talking draft and put this in the Draft Forum.
 
hows about leonard davis? id rather get some solid vet help and develop alabai and berger and toledo, so we can draft some db's and linebackers.
 
ya maybe in the first jamarcus russel out of lsu if he comes out early
if not i say we wait and pick up palko from pitt maybe in 3rd depending on seson but after that all oline
 
we do need o-line but what about a QB!! we will not win a sb with the qb's we have period!

why?? ill tell you why thats all we have to look foward to, we will find a way to lose to the jets next week book it!!
 
If we draft high(which in all likelyhood we will)we need to trade down for a boat load of picks...this team is full of holes..offense as well as defense.
 
I just have one thing to say, this is the LAST year I go into the season with any type of expectations. I can not stand to have my heart broken anymore, its been three decades of the same crap...Whether its the coaching, qb, rb, o-line, etc etc every year is another excuse..... There is no reason with the resources Mr. Huizenga provides to this organization that the team has the same crappy year after year....
With the players on this team, the coaching staff, and facilities the team has at its disposal 1-4 is totally unacceptable....
And the worst part is yet to come for this DOLFAN in NY if we loose to the JETS.....
1 SUPER BOWL before I die thats all I ask..... Its octboer 8th and we already have to look foward to "NEXT" year... MIND BOGILING!!!!
Sorry I'm not being negative, I just need to vent, the depression is beyond belief right now.....:dolphins:

We have to go 8-3 to match last years record.
 
Ok, who wouldn't trade Jason Allen, Culpepper, and every other draftee we got last year for Jay Cutler right now. He was on the board just a few picks ahead of us and we could have had him. Woops! Our bad!
