"Spielman didn't arrive in Miami until after the 2000 draft and he wasn't named GM until January of 2004. He didn't pull the trigger on Chambers or McMichael, nor was he responsible for Jamar Fletcher and Eddie Moore, but he was directly responsible for the trades involving Feeley, Carey, and Ogunleye."

Wanny made those choices NOT Spielman...

Why does everybody leave out the Lamar Gordon trade when assesing Spielman. That was just about as bad as Feeley IMO.

Your also forgetting Derrick Pope, Tony Pape, and Tony Bua.......

Why do people leaveout Ricky quit on the eve of training camp, Lamar Gordon was the only non-scrub(at the time) RB available?

Why can't we just let Spielidiot go? He is gone, let me repeat that: he is gone. Let him go for crying out loud.

Derrick Pope is a good backup LB. Sooooo, I don't get that.

I'll even go as far and say that Pope is a future starter on the inside in the three-four and four-three. That is, if we don't sign Courtney Watson.

Think it is covered under the Ogunleye trade, as it came out of that. So figure Feeley, Carey, and Ogunleye/Gordon. Not exactly a shining resume.

The only thing I can say in his defense is with RW bailing and Wanny at the helm, he was on a sinking ship and was making desperation moves. Kind of like the guy who blew the family savings in Vegas feeding his last couple bucks into the dollar slots and hoping for the best.

Yeah, if we wanted Vernon Carey, we could of waited a bit. But I love that Carey is here. I also liked that Booker is here, though I still wish Ogunleye was here. And AJ....well, at least he was a class act about not being here now and not firing off on us.

Now we can trade C-Pep back to the Vikes for two firsts and get him back for a 6th !!!!!!!!!!!!
