Every Fin fan should be very excited about Culpepper being a Dolphins for only a 2nd round pick. First off you tell me what QB in the 2nd round is a better fit for Miami other than Culpepper. Second, look it could be worse, we could be trading another 2nd rounder for a guy by the name of A.J. Feely, remember that? Culpepper is still relatively young and he is 2 years removed from being 2nd in the MVP voting to Manning. He struggled last year because he was in a new system and he had no Moss, he'll be coming to Miami to play in a system that is alike Linehan's. He has more weapons here in Miami than he did in Minnesota. Many of you wanted Brees, but let's remember he injured his throwing shoulder which may or may not come back to hurt him later down the road. IMO, he's not too confident about his playing ability if he's going to a much weaker NO just for some more guaranteed money. Culpepper has a very strong arm and he has the ability to run if things break down. Get excited, we have a legit QB now, and watch out for the Fins in 06!

Damn right:dolphins:

Actually my first priority was Brees but apparently he's in love with a thing they call money ( i wonder what it feels like to have em':D :D ).
I'm just happy that we got us a future QB and lets face it whats the most disturbing thing about him his knee? Well isn't the shoulder a more important tool for a QB.

I trust Saban so WELCOME DAUNTE:dolphins: :dolphins: :goof:

Mt thoughts exactly. I was worried about Brees arm I would rather my QB have a bad leg then a bad arm.

We have a franchise QB!! A 3 time pro bowler!! One of the leagues best QBs!! Holy crap it feels great....and for a cheaper pick than we spent on the A.J. Feeley trade.

Saban hasn't steered us wrong once, so these haters shouldn't be funneling at him.

I just learned of this news and all I gotta say is YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally!!!! A good qb worthy of wearing a fins uniform!!!! I am predicting right now that if healthy, Culpepper makes the probowl this year and that the fins are now AUTOMATIC superbowl contenders!! How sweet it is to see the prophecy of the Sabiah unfolding before my eyes!!

I'm not sold on Culpepper but I am excited for the potential, which is far greater than anything we've had since Dan the Man. I just hope last year was a fluke and not a sign of things to come.
