Timeline For The First Hire

Usually want a head coach by the time the Senior Bowl begins. The Senior Bowl is where a head coach can make a lot of contacts and find people to fill out their coaching staff.

I know there won't be any rush for someone to take this job

whoever we get if he was our defacto first or second choice it will be a miracle

If the candidate is on a playoff team AND a high probability he'll sign with Miami, it may be a while. If not, a week or two

Depends entirely on the Ravens entirely, IMO. Baltimore is a complete team, not a rebuilding project.

They would have to finish the year with that team. Cannot be hired until the team is eliminated.
