Timing of 9th Pick

I'm working Saturday and want to try to catch the 9th pick (obviously) but can't watch to draft for hours...

does anyone have a rough idea when the 9th pick of the draft usually rolls around and what timeframe that would fall into on Saturday?

yea, this is actually one draft where I think I will be watching the first ten picks w/o moving from the TV . . . should be very interesting

2:30 ish, depending on trades and such in the first 8 picks. Each pick allows the teams 15 minutes to make their selection.

it wont be 2:30. We'll be off the clock by then. Draft coverfage starts at 11 (eastern time). If thats when the raiders go on the clock, then the latest will go on the clock is 1:00, and only if each team takes the full 15 minutes. So i'd check in at 12:30/12:45, and if raiders dont go on until noon (im not sure when it will be 11 or 12 tho), then The latest we will be on the clock is 2:00, and off by 2:15, so at 2:30 you will miss the pick. We will probasbly be around 1:30, maybe 1:45. thats a good time to tune in, as they should be around 7/8. (15 mins a pick = 4 picks an hour, the longest it can take to do the 8 picks before us is 2 hours)

Theoretically, if every team takes their 15 minutes we would be on the clock at 2:00 PM And off at 2:15 if we take our entire 15 minutes.

My guess is it will be close to that as teams will be waiting for a boatload trade offer right for their entire 15 minutes in most cases.

Of course, thats assuming we stay at #9.

yeah 15 minutes a pick, the first 8 picks can go no longer than 2 hours... so 2 pm would be the latest they could go... so probably between 1:45 and 2:00 is when the dolphins will be on the clock...
