My first choice would be Nick Saban. Kirk Firenz and Romeo Crennell would also be significant upgrades as the new head coach of the Miami Dolphins.

I know a lot of people are high on Rick Spielman as GM, but I'm not sold on him. Rick better pray that A.J. Feeley turns out to be the real deal, because if he traded our 2nd round pick for a QB that turns out to be nothing more than a backup, he needs to be on the same plane that Wanny takes out of Miami.

As far as Rick goes at least we are trying to get better, if AJ is an improvement over Jay then its money and pick well spent. His other moves(Boston, Booker, Gordon) have been outstanding and I am so glad we didnt give in to Ogun.

I still like Rich Rodriguez as a nice dark horse, and I like the idea of bringing Chan back. He got a raw deal in Dallas, and I liked Chan's offense a hell of a lot better than anything that came after it.

Chan Gailey was great in 2000, but he reverted to an ultra-conservative offense in 2001, which is a philosophy that I think needs to be exorcised from the Miami Dolphins.

I agree that ultra-conservatism needs to be exorcised, but I have little reason to believe that it's Chan. Instead, I think it is pretty clear just from one Oakland game that DW asserted his will on Chan and on Norv to run that sort of O.
