Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams wants in on the Peyton Manning sweepstakes and is ready to do whatever it takes to sign the four-time NFL MVP, The Tennessean reported Sunday.

However, Wyatt reports that Titans General Manager Ruston Webster, Chief Operating Officer Mike Reinfeldt and head coach Mike Munchak aren’t on board with Adams’ goal. The Titans’ football people think veteran Matt Hasselbeck and last year’s top pick, Jake Locker, make quarterback a position where the Titans are strong.

I think they are the new front runners.....he gets to stay in the same division against teams he's dominated over the yrs and he gets two shots at Indy and Luck every yr until he retires....best of all he want have to play against Brady, Belicheat twice a yr......I think we are the long shot.

all these qb's getting thrown under the bus. including moore. I think they understand its Manning but they must also think they dont have much confidence in him.

imo if they get manning we should sign hasselbeck then draft tannelhill but imo i just dont think that he will interview with Tn if he wants to be signed by tuesday and another thing i just dont see Tn as a playoff contender.
