With all the talk about the off-season I hope we don't forget (and even more important, the Dolphins don't forget) that we still have 2 important games left. I know the titans aren't all that good, but any team can have a good game. I think it would do wonders for the Dolphins and us fan to win out the season. To me this is the perfect example to show the NFL the Phins are a different team. Winning 2 games that mean nothing to the playoff race will show that the Dolphins are going to play hard and wont give up. Next season started 4 games ago after the shutout. That game was the end of the old Dolphins and the birth of the new Dolphins. The Dolphins that every team will circle on their schedule as a tough game. The Dolphins that when they make it to the playoffs will be feared.

OK... done ranting and preaching.

Thanks to earlier hiccups this season, the Dolphins have zero important games left. :(

and how will our focus on a fan message board affect these games??

What kind of actually thinks he doesn't have an impact? Teams don't survive without fans... without fans there is no point to playing any games... fans are why there are professional sports.

The games aren't important to any team other than the one we care about. Personally I think that makes them fairly important.

Of course teams need fans. But I seriously doubt our discussions about who to draft or what FA's to sign will have any impact on how the team plays this week. Or any week for that matter.

Sure teams need fans......leagues need fans. But they don't need their fans to "focus"......they don't need their fans not to look ahead to the next opponent, or even next year.

Example: I was at the NYG/NO game this year at the Meadowlands.....and a guy next to me wore an Eagles jersey, just to get a rise out of the Giants fans, and it worked. they were riding him really hard and this old-timer Giant fan starts yelling at them that they better start worrying about the Saints and stop worrying about the Eagles. WHY?? were they going to blow a coverage it they didn't concentrate??

Sorry if my original comment came off bad....no harm intended, but I just get a kick out of it when I hear things like the fans need to worry about the current opponent and stuff like that.

Winning out will give us something to build off of for next season. I dont think the players will give up or let up just because we won't make the playoffs. Last year we had no shot at them and still came out and beat the Pats. They still have pride to play for. The Titans are another team that won't give it up even if they do have a horrid record. It will be a tough game but in the end I predict the Phins prevail.

I agree. I think the last 2 games are also important because it will open up room for FA. No one wants to come to a terrible team. We have made significant progress this year and it could help us pick up new players.

This post is about the fans "not forgetting there are 2 games left". Well, football players are paid to win games, us fans are not paid to do anything for the NFL.

Like Burger13 posted.

I personally feel Miami's defense will have trouble with McNair and that offense. Bennett is a tough matchup for Madison or Daniels and Miami seems to have a very hard time covering TE's. Ben Troupe and Bennett are going to have big days if you ask me. McNair will too. Just my opinion

we've been discussing about the offseason since before THIS season began. i'm sure every other team's board has the same thing going on
