Curious to see where coveted safety TJ Ward lands. Lions interested and have the $$. Dolphins, Redskins? Not Eagles, though. Not in the mix

Really, did they add a safety spot instead of the 18 game season that I missed

I saw this Tweet too. Kind of bizarre on Rapport's part IMO.

I think Rapoport is just guessing; not working off of any sources. I'd be very surprised if TJ Ward ended up a Dolphin after the signing of Delmas.

While $3.5 million isn't a lot of money for a safety, I doubt we'd invest a whole lot more in the safety position than we already have wrapped up in Delmas and Jones combined. I doubt they sign any other safety for more than something close to league minimum.

Throwing **** against the wall to see if it sticks.

Unless we signed Delmas and/or Jones to play special teams...not happening.

Right now according to Spotrac only 20 safeties under contract have average salaries more than $3.5 million per year. He's paid starting safety money in today's NFL.

doubt it but a thing to remember is Kevin Coyle spent years under Mike Zimmer with the Bengals, and they used a lot of 3 safety looks with one playing deep center, 1 in the slot, and one as a nickle LB.

I would rather have Delmas running after a receiver than Wheeler.
