Not only are the Dolphins basically out of the playoffs, Caddy is having himself one helluva day. Over 100 yards with 2 tds. Means Ronnie will have to have a couple monster games to get in the front runnings again. Hopefully he can get something done against that great run D of SD.

Gruden dropped his average from 4.3 to 3.9 by running him in garbage time... ah well.

Oh well now we need Ronnie to get some major yards!!!!
He will need some long runs because he isn't going to get the carries that Caddy gets with Ricky also in the backfield. Honestly though, I would rather have Ronnie split carries with Ricky early in his career to slowly ease him into the NFL. Look at Caddy, he started strong and then fell of the map for almost have the season because of all the carries he got. Ronnie gets less carries and has been productive all season.

The masses must listen. Nothing wrong with splittin' carries for a year or two. Brown's already shown he knows how to run, we're just reducing wear and tear.

Ronnie can make up the yards he isn't getting now once RIcky retires, by then Ronnie will be coming into his physical peak and the wear and tear won't be half as bad as Caddy when Caddy finally gets to his physical peak. Saban letting Ronnie split carries in the early years could be creating a monster.
