and we will... I cried after that damn pats game. I weeped for a good hour, and couldnt get my head out of my rear for a whole week after. that game had a devastating effect on me. I still have nightmares about fletcher and wanny in that game. Anyone care to share there story of that game and how it affected them and what you did?
 
That Pass Interference call on Fletcher was complete bull****. Without that we win that **** and win the effin superbowl or at least make it..

Technically, it was the right call. The play used to be on youtube.

Fletcher and Givens are running side by side and Fletcher puts out on arm and restricts Givens, however it was only a little bit and given how this was before the rules emphasis, there should not have been a flag.

Anyway, it was the special teams.

1) The kickoff not bouncing into the endzone
2) McMichael getting called for holding, even though they missed a blatant facemask on the Patriots.
3) Royals shanking the punt
4) Mare kicking off OB.

We needed to put the ball in Ricky's hands at the three, and we didn't
 
We didn't lose that game because of one PI call. The call was borderline, and maybe shouldn't have been called in a game with the season on the line, but it wasn't outrageously awful.

We lost the game because we came unglued, and the Pats capitalized on all the chances we kept handing them.
 
ya basically after the game, and i was only 12 years old at the time, i felt like someone stabbed me right in the heart, and there was nothing to make me happy. just the way we lost still sickens me so much i cant even describe. and it was so obvious that the jets were going to destroy the packers that day after we had lost, even though green bay was rlly good that year i believe. another reason to hate brett.

I was happy the Jets won. I absolutely didn't want to see the Pats get in because of beating us. As a fan, I'm petty and vindictive that way.

We are very close in age..I am 42. Wonder what were the games that were worse for you. Mine in no particular order..Losing to the Raiders on a prayer of a pass from Stabler to keep us fome getting our 3rd ring in a row.

Of course the 82 playoff loss to the Chargers..

The 94 Playoff loss to the Chargers when Stoyo missed from 48

Losing to the Pats in the AFC Championship game when we had the best shot to beat the Bears....just to name a few
 
I fell asleep and wished it was a dream. I woke up 16 hours later and realized I lived a nightmare. drinking doesn't help either. this time its different. GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!!
 
I really still feel that if we would have gotten in that we would have gone and beat Tampa in the SB...

No he was right. If the Jets loss to the Packers we would have got in, but the Packers benched Favre and put Doug Pederson in.

I was like 14 and I admit, I cried too. Seeing that FG go in with the Pats winning. 1st season we werent in
