Well, having completed an extensive mid-season accounting, and performance evaluation on personal prediction/success ratios, we've apparently exausted all available "Limbs to go out on", and exceeded all credit involving personal guarantees.
Such frivolous guarantees, backing up threads that initiate these unfounded claims of "breakout games", and half-baked predictions of prophetic victory have all went awry, and to date (aside from eeking out the titans) remain unfulfilled.

Starting threads imo, that merely predict outcome, doesn't necessarily bode well as optimism, and if recent history reveals anything, its that these threads have been more conducive to dread, than anything thats being said.

Personally, I subscribe to the notion,"Good things happen, when you least expect them", and with that perception, the idea of stating an upset, consequently impedes the potential for it occur.
Making matters worse, is that week after week, these threads are repeatedly posted, causing others read them, and thus compound the blockade.

So IMO, the single best thing you can do, to avoid wreaking doom on your embattled Fins as they prepare to take on their unbeaten foes at Soldier Field, is this time, when you get your weekly hunch, gut feeling, uncanny intuition, or divine foresight, that somthing big is gonna happen this weekend,

forget about it..and if you can't, then please keep it to yourself.

Your future observance in this regard will be much appreciated.

I will be at Soldier Field on sunday with my brother and father, sitting in section 115 row 12. do i expect a win? NO. do i expect this team to play its best football game of the season? well that isnt saying much. will i be in my Welker Jersey acting a fool? YES. i have been looking forward to this game all season, the only other game i have tickets for is the colts game December 31st.

I would love to watch the dolphins win a football game in Chicago. expecialy since the radio stations are talking about not looking past the Giants next week. they also mentioned the Jets and pats. they expect miami to come here and lose the coin toss and say oh well i guess we should go home and prepare for the Chiefs.

I wont give up hope, i also wont hang my head at the game. im a dolphins fan and i will be a dolphins fan on monday, this week and every week.

Excellent post. 5 stars. The mindless and baseless predictions of "optimism" or blatant "homerotica" is getting old fast!

Expect the worst and the best might happen. Or, you can choose to expect the most, and keep it to yourself.

If we were a good team, I wouldn't mind a little 'rah-rah' but the facts are we suck, and if convincing yourself that we're gonna beat every team every week no matter how bad we are is how you choose to be a fan, please, feel free to NOT clutter up this board with those threads and keep it to yourself.

i dont think predicting this team to win its earlier games was that off the mark. we are a better team than Buffalo, Tennessee, Houston, Green Bay, etc. We lost because we shot ourselves in the foot repeatedly. You cant predict the type of mistakes that haunt this team. Eventually they will stop and we will win some games. Is it too late to matter, sure, but no reason to not see this team in the best light on Saturday and curse their ineptitude on Monday

Your comments are totally biased. We are not a better team than buffalo, green bay, houston, tennesse, etc... Take it like a man, if they beat you is becuase thay are better than you, bringing out excuses is childish and makes you look like a wimp. What if green bay would of been the one to "shoot themselves in the foot", is that ok? Than we would have won becuase they made the mistakes? That is what football is all about! Whoever makes the least mistakes is the one who wins! Havent you ever heard coaches saying we need not to turnover the ball, not give big plays, and play smart football. They all say the same thing becuase that is usually the difference between a win and a loss. So please dont say that we are better than a team that beat us, you are disrespecting their effort and allowing our team to think they are better that what they really are. And that only leads to more failures.

You're right, optimistic fans have no place on a fan board like this. It is only for amatuer football analyst wannabees to ingeniously remind each other week after week that we suck.

I am glad I come here because it is hard to tell by watching the games.
