Hopefully, all the Vonte Davis is the next Jason Allen, Williams is going to lead the league in returns, Pat White is better than Henne people out there, who determined that after one pre season game will learn something. Hopefully that something is one game, exspecially the first pre season game means very little to the over all picture. Some of it made for some funny reading though.

He looked ok, had a nice run on the first down, and looked decisive with the ball. He is very mechanical coming from behind center though. He didn't have much of a chance tonight, but didn't play poorly.

On the flip it is just ONE game that proved otherwise. Davis still can be the next jason allen. All you did was do the same thing these people did except disagree with them. Thread is a failure. Come back and say this when Davis is starter/doing ok/well, or Williams has been cut and White isnt the starter next year.

Bro you are entitled to your opinion, so if you find it pointless, don't post in it. However the meat of the thread is not to make judgement on someone after one or even two preseason games. I am not making, or did I make any predictions about players did I? I didn't think so....Next.

I don't see how anybody could rate White's play as being better than Henne's. I know there isn't much of a sample size, but I haven't seen good velocity on any of the balls White has thrown. He's quick and shifty, I just don't see the QB skills. As far as Henne goes, he hasn't lit the world on fire or anything, but he's been solid.

While were here I would also like to base the rest of people's career off of one pre-season game..

- Ronnie Brown will have 3000yards and 38 touchdowns receiving alone.

- Lex Hilliard will league the league in rush yards for centuries to come

- Vontae Davis is now not J. Allen part 2 anymore, and will supplant Will Allen for the starting job by half an hour ago... you can tell he's good by how much he celebrates after tackles..

- Pat White is a bust for sure..

- Nat Moore and Bob Griese are extremely awkward people at all times of the day and in any social context..
