PLEASE!!!!! Spare us reasonable fans of your matter of fact comments of how this kid (who has rarely played good vs top competition) is the savior or the next Dan Marino, To all the jokers who actually think this is the Wanny/Spielman regime and feel we will move uo to #2 and give up our 1st and 2 2's to get Brady Quinn?

PLEASE get in touch with reality!!!! Bottom line Brady Quinn is high risk player who will demand not only high draft picks to aquire..but a large contract, every friggin day someone starts 10 threads about a player who wont be there at 9 and Mueller is too smart to trade up and get....

HE WILL NOT BE A DOLPHIN.....might aswell cancel christmas now fanatics, cry in your pillows get it over with!!

PLEASE leave the Quinn topics alone and stop hating on every other player who we will have a shot at..( Landry, Ginn, Okeye)...all this Brady Quinn is great talk is very tired.....Focus on the positives of the players we actually might draft..

BTW I'd take 1 Landry over 2 Quinns anyday of the week!!

agree 100% .. The mods need to filter this board like they do cuss words .. And add "Brady" and "Quinn" to the list of profane words that should never be read or typed in..

At least up until after the draft .
 
is it possible we trade up to draft quinn??? yes
is it possible quinn may even be there at 9? yes, and this according to major sports websites
can quinn be a great qb? its possib;e, varying opinions on this

all these questions are yes so not talking about a guy many ppl are enamored would be incorrect....i can flip this back at you and say im sick of the okoye talk....we dont need a dline guy who doesnt fit our system....im sick of the mock drafts that have us taking him....as for landry-id really like the pick cause i think the guy is the next ed reed.....but dont say mueller is too smart to not trade up when he's had a history of doing so in the past....and to move to 6 and give up a 3rd to get quinn would be great....

A. this is a competely worthless post
B. i dont want brady quinn at all. but im not blind, deaf or dumb enough to see that there is a very realistic chance that b. quinn will be a dolphin.
C. i love when people make statements like the ones you made above, because the second that we do draft quinn this thread will be moved front and center. then we will see how you respond ms. cleo!:rolleyes2

I agreed with most of your points except the one about moving up. Quinn has real accuracy issues past 10 yards! Quinn says he's favorite pass is the... swing pass? Could you imagine Marino saying the "swing pass" was his favorite pass? Scary.

I am no big fan of Quinn but if Mueller & Cam think he's the best possible solution then I'll just have to accept it.

BQ, though, is better than options from Stanford & Michigan St.

I'd prefer Rowe, Zac Taylor, Kolb, Beck, Swogger (U of Montana), Quinn, Stanton, & Edwards in that order

OK, but don't be upset next Saturday when Quinn is our new QB.
 
I would rather trade down and pickup some extra draft picks. We will be able to get a quality QB with our first pick in the second round. We need so many positions that have not been filed on the O Line. I do not see them trading up to get a QB and sacrificing our future. Time to get some young players and develop a team.
 
If not Brady Quinn, then who exactly, are his doubters, waiting for us to pick up at QB. We need to mold a young QB, and stop taking everyone else's washed up players.
 
If you wait for the perfect QB to fall into your lap, its never going to happen, QBs are the most nitpicked position there is and every slight flaw any player QB has will be magnified 10 fold and when you add to the fact hes been under the microscope sinc day one with everyone of his games on national television, it gives people alot of ammo to use even if he makes only 1 mistake a game, EVERYONE gets to see it.

every player makes mistakes in games, but they aren't always as noticable since they are not playing on national television EVERY,SINGLE,WEEK.
 
I totally agree...Quinn has BUST written all over him...as a top ten pick.

Not to say he wont develop into another Harrington , Carr, type but he is not a first game starter in the NFL...which makes him a low 1st round early to mid second round value.

Miami needs a game 1 impact starter...the only positions with that player at #9 is OL or DL, not even a LB will start game 1 in Miami, not Willis, not Beason, or HB Blades.

OL, WR, QB, DL, LB, OL will be the sequence. If a high value RB is available at round 2 or 3 dont be surprised.
