To Anyone Thinking 65 Y O Fangio Is Too Old....

I think age is relative. They arenā€™t asking Fangio to line up and take snaps. He seems to be in good health and his mind appears shape. As some who is 7 years older than Fangio, I have to deal with a bit of arthritis in my lower back and right knee but I still have a great memory and after getting up in the morning and spending about an hour on the heating pad and tens machine, I can still do most things I did 30 years ago.

Thats pretty epic.

47th NFL contract. Way to go dude. Altough if I recall correctly, he was the captain of the 1 year contract. Didn't he retire every year and get talked into coming back by Peyton Manning at least 7 times.

Still, thats a heck of a feat and doubtful anyone is even close to him in terms of number of contracts signed.

He was Peyton Manning's OC like I invented vodka.....

Yes but you think Manning needed him? He was his own OC.

Yes I do, he needed a lot of help actually as evidenced by his lone SB title in Indy, despite having a stacked roster. Manning's career is a bit of a disappointment as far as I am concerned, compared to what it actually should've produced.

Ty Law abused him, especially in the playoffs.

Obviously he was a great QB and I would've gladly taken his career for my own, or certainly taken him as our QB all the years he played.

Still, overall he was somewhat of a disappointment considering the expectations (and the team he was surrounded with).
