So, what do you think we still need in order for the puzzle to be in place? I really think we are as close as we've been in a long time, but I have rose colored glasses....

If we are able to land Ty Law and Arrington or Peterson before the draft, I think we will have as good a shot as any team in the league to be in the super bowl.

i think we need will allen or c wood peterson or arrington and some o line to be real superbowl contenders. u cant have any weaknesses and i hope we dont. i think right now we can contend but need to fill those voids.

well lets see
Coaching staff-check
QB-check-culpepper from what i saw on espn b4 most acurrate qb ever
RB-check-ronnie brown may have a probowl year this year if no ricky
WR-ehhh check ive seen teams with worse wide reciever cores in the SB
TE-check-McMike might be in the probowl this year with no brees in SD
OL-im not gonna say we have a superbowl caliber line but were close
DE-check-JT and Carter are both probowlers and Roth is gonna be a monster
DT-if we sign sam adams then a def check run stuffer like woah
LB-one more would help but Zach is amayzing n Crowders lookin good either a rookie or a vet would do fine here
CB-biggest need in my opinion we need a big time corner to help our team for sure
S-we need safteys also have to fill that need for real

Definitely secondary help. I don't really understand the need for a top tier LB at this point. I think the addition of Peterson or Arrington makes our defense amazing, but the secondary is where we need help.

I still think the team we have now is a legitimate super bowl contender, especially after seeing the two teams in the super bowl last year, and the teams the patriots had in their super bowl winning years.

Our offense is sick right now. Our defense isn't as sick as it used to be, but we still have JT and Zach, and we also have Kevin Carter and Channing Crowder. We need to fill in a few places...but I'm confident we will have an excellent shot at this year's super bowl.

i think we need a linebacker, some o-line help and a good safety to be a super bowl contender

i think we're still a LT short. shelton is not a good LT, as proven by the fact that neither arizona nor cleveland, perennial cellar dwellers, wanted to keep him on their team - his size and strength make him better suited to RT imo. i figure we go, from right to left: shelton, carey, hadnot, james, LT to be named later.

then we need safety help, but i dont think its as important with JT, manny in his sophomore year, and roth in his second year, mixed in with the rest of our dt rotation: that line could get consistent pressure on the qb without blitzes imo, protecting our db.

long answer short: OL, then DB

You should add "One more year of solid development" to the choices.

Db's without a doubt. I think we'll challenge as it is now, buut adding help a S and CB would be an improvement. Antonio Cromartie would look good back there.

Upgrades to Secondary and we could be playing at home which would be awesome since SB XLI is at Miami.

Upgrades to LB and Secondary...we saw what Polamulau (sp) did in the super bowl and playoffs for PITT. We need someone like that to make their presence felt.

I am worried about our secondary. Peyton Manning could eat up our d-backs right now if we met them in a playoff game.....just liked he killed Denver's secondary before the Donkeys got Champ Bailey and Lynch.
