Just wondering if anyone has heard any news on K. Mawae or S. Adams since their visits with the Dolphins... all I've heard is that S. Adams agent expected Miami to make an offer and I know Mawae seemed genuinely interested in us (not to mention he stated he is about winning, not money now)...any news? hopes? speculations?

I heard on Sirius Radio yesterday (I think) that we really making a push to get Adams for whatever that is worth. I would love to get Mawae too but I think there will be a lot of teams wanting him.

thats good news to hear... and about Mawae, I believe we will have an edge over a lot of teams IF what he said about winning being his number one concern is true... I think the allure of getting to play against NY 2X a year and living in the South Florida sun, not to mention having a coach like Saban, Mawae would choose us over a number of suitors...

But now we all a sudden have renewed interest in re-signing McKinney AFTER Mawae's visit!

that is a little strange... one would think that Mawae, even at his age and coming off a season-ending injury, would be an upgrade over McKinney...wonder what happened:confused:

what i hear is that Mawae still thinks that he is worth big time money in the FA market, and after realizing that Miami decided maybe they should concentrate on Signing Seth instead (can't afford Mawae at his current asking price).

I'd love to get both of these guys, but I think the emphasis actually needs to be on Adams. Who knows how many games Traylor is good for, and it would be nice to have two enormous run stoppers/gap pluggers to keep
o-lineman off of Zach. It's funny...Mawae seemingly has always been the best at getting to Zach on that next level and tying him up. If we can't get Mawae, at least he'll likely be out of the East.

I think we will know more about who is coming here after FA in the next few days. I think both guys will be great additions in Miami

I have a feeling he might go to Dallas, Miami, or someone who is close to winning a championship.
