To Mr Saban:

Their are other ways of getting young talent. Supplemental draft which will have VA. starting safety, DE and a awesome LB in Ahmad Brooks who was a Butkus award finalist as a soph. Then their are always undrafted FA's and picking players off practice squads. Saban has already shown he will use these methods by getting Manny in the supp draft and getting Burger and Fred Gibson off practice squads. Draft is exciting to watch but it's not the only way of adding depth and getting potential.

Welcome. Don't worry as I stated in my other posts Saban knows how to get depth and except for a position or two we are ready IMO for a heck of a season.

***To give away*** meaning to give possession of an item to another party without being given anything in return......

I believe we gave a 2nd round pick to Minnesota for Daunte Culpepper (I approve) and some possible 7th Rounders or 6th next year for Joey Harrington, again (I approve).. We gave and in turn, were given something in return, hence, we gave AWAY nothing..

Would you draft Daunte Culpepper with our 2nd round pick in this year's draft if he were available? I know I would.

I like the trade for Harrington idea myself. You wont find anyone with his potential past the top of the second and if we give 2 7th round picks for a young full of potential qb with plenty of game experiance and injury free I think it's a no brainer for a back-up.
