We have endured crappy QB play for the last decade (outside of Pennington). Trading 2nd round picks as if they were worth nothing. We have been the QB graveyard. I dont nor have I seen anything to suggest Chad Henne is the next QB to lead this team for years to come. I really really hope he proves me wrong but I highly doubt it.
If I am correct (and I surely hope I'm not) and Henne shows nothing, we should have a top 10 pick in the draft. Trade up, do whatever we have to do and get Colt McCoy, or Sam Bradford, depending on how he plays the rest of the year post-injury. Enough is enough. It sucks watching guys like Sanchez, Flacco, and Ryan succeed while we continue with our QB carousel.
I know we need help at WR/LB/Safety.. the list goes on lol but lets start at the most important position in football. Guys like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning show us all that even with crappy players around, as long as you have a cerebral QB, your team will always be in the game.
