To put this defense in perspective in this game.

Coming into this game the jets were averaging 22 points a game and 330 yards a game offensively.
Our defense in one half has given up 20 pts and 282 yards. who would have thought our defense would be this pathetic.
I guess its the Suh effect. Our defense is worse versus the run than it was last year. This is our worst run defense in a long damn time.

And it took one drive in the second half and they have surpassed all their averages for the season lol
Can we get a refund on Suh and start over with the whole defense.

Lol, they blitz up the middle, and we don't send the te to the middle of the field to exploit the blitz on that last 4th down play. Even I seen that coming. Why doesn't tanne audible?

Nobody is playing well enough to even write something on them... this is disgusting.

We are being blitzed every play with no communication in the middle picking anything up. Tannehill is under pressure every damn drop back, and hit on many of them. No running game, and we stopped attempting to run too. 1st drive was going solid, except penalties once again killed it, and we gave up on third and long.... oh yeah, we cant even convert on third down at all anyways.


Defense is pathetic... besides one solid containment against the run, and Shepard actually filling for a tackle in the backfield, Shepard is absent and cant fill crap. Suh cant read and take angles half the time, getting destroyed my Mangolds powerful hand checks moving suh far from the hole. Nobody else can maintain there area or lanes. On the pass rush, even when we do get a push and start applying pressure, nobody is disengaging or using their hands to get off the blocks to make a play on fitz.. .who is being called Houdini for his escaping and running right now... really???

Secondary actually is playing decent for whats been happening. Especially with Grimes out now too. Brice has made a couple nice plays on the ball, against a tall physical Marshall.


gotta love Philbin and his melancholy manor saying at half time that the only balance and consistent drive we had was on our TD drive... even though it was basically a big gift from the Jets with those two HUGE pass interference plays to get us to around the 4-5 yard line, and an actual creative play call for a TD. But what was Philbin talking about calling it a balanced offensive drive for us... it was a gift.

That's so true. The Jets are so one dementional and we can't stop that one demension. Fitzpatrick is so bad but our secondary is one of the worse in the league. Coyle will probably be fired after this game, but the secondary is to blame and we have like 1 sack in 4 games.
