I was just curious how you managed to set up your private workouts with all the QB's and your interviews to see if they fit the dolphins system and direction the dolphins wanted to go? So how did you do that cause for those of us with the common sense to realize that CAM and Randy know a lot more than us are just curious so maybe next year we can set it up so we know as much as you. Or was it that kmart was having a blue light special on crystal balls this month I must have missed it I was too busy reading the expert mock drafters on here:tantrum: . Wake up people if you know oh so much than why are you posting on a fan page go get paid for your brilliance. Dont say you cant either cause you can there are schools specifically designed to set people up to be scouts and agents and if you were any damn good you would get a J.O.B doing so. But guess what you dont know as much as CAM and Randy so I got a brilliant Idea for you have your opinions fine but dont act like you know more than they do that comment in itself just shows your brilliance. Support your new fins or go find a new team you whiney little cry babies:shakeno:

What is with these "fans"? I bet they'll be the first ones to cheer when Ginn returns his first punt for a touchdown, or he catches a rainbow pass deep down the sideline, and opens up the running game, makes Chambers better, stays out of trouble and is a model citizen, opposing teams double cover and cause single coverage against Booker w LB coming out of backfield, I could go on but they just wouldn't get it.

EXACTLY,

I've never seen so much whining from so many fans who truly know so little about the players available.

Beck may well end up being a much better pro than Quinn

Ginn may end up being a very good return guy and also help out at the wr spot.

Everybody needs to let the draft play out and wait until this team plays a real game before you get loud with your opinions about our new coach.

It's not like Saban left a great team. We all knew Cam would need to rebuild this team. Geez, let him do what he thinks is right. When we start playing games THEN you can complain if you don't like the results.

Dave Wannstedt and Nick Saban had private workouts with all the athletes. That didn't stop them from screwing up the draft.

Always amazed at the 'zealots'... How it is they can react so strongly and be so absolutely certain who the steals and busts are when NOT ONE PLAYER TAKEN THESE LAST TWO DAYS HAS EVEN TAKEN A MEANINGFUL SNAP IN THE NFL... NOT ONE. That includes Brady Quinn and Teddy Ginn... Yet they talk like they got the road map to success in the league. You cannot evaluate a draft the day it ends... Look at it for how your 'team' attempted to address its needs and formulate a plan moving forward. I have said it before I think Booker was one of those real pleasent surprises, great pick because of the rationale behind it... Giving a totally different type of runner to complement Brown... Defenses are going to have to approach the phins differently... Respect Ginn's speed, stack for Brown or Williams and then Booker gives us a third down run option... We are setting up for an unpredictable offense... I'm down with that.

I love it when experts like you guys sit there and complain about the ones like me who believe that Ginn was a very bad pick at No.9. What about when you guys ahve whinned about DC or Saban or Fiedler, etc.. then it's ok. Becuase most of you like us make your comments based on your own expert know how. You guys know as much as the next and we all have the right to complain about what we want. So why dont you all keep your comments to yourself, and let people speak out. Geniuses.:D :D

A special teamer at #9 is not a good pick. Yes, Ginn is a good player, but not a good pick in the 9 hole. He is too slight to get off the line against physical corners playing press - anyone remember Larry Shannon?

People question the picks, others defend the picks - yada, yada, yada. But, don't sit here saying all is well in Finland and that Cam/Randy are know it alls and that real fans wouldn't question them - I heard enough of that Kool-Aid sucking crap during the Saban era.

Everyone screws up, but not after one day. time will tell so lets see what weve got before we hit the panic alarm.

Anyone has the right to their opinion... absolutely... I'm just tired of the people who run around yelling 'the sky is falling' when they honsetly have no idea... It is totally ok to disagree with a pick, even I didnt like Ginn at 9... but lets be smart enough to evaluate it AFTER he has actually played a game... Hell after a practice. Nobody is saying you cant speak your mind but to say that Ginn or Cameron suck when neither has even taken the field is being a little emotional.

HAHAHA dude you just compared complaining about guys who havent played a snap yet vs. guys complaining about guys who HAVE PLAYED so we can make opinions but you are basing yours off a crystal ball ...what was that word you used oh yeah there it is GENIUS haha get a clue bro think before you write:shakeno:

Agree 100 percent man thats what im trying to say hell i didnt agree with it either but im not a moron and acting like i know more then they do and not only that but they didnt play a freakin down yet jesus people wake up

Lets all just have a little patience and see what plays out, our offense just got a hell of alot faster and Beck is way more accurate then Quinn so lets just wait till the season start before we call for CAM's head...

A special teams player? That shows how much you know. Ginn was not only one of the top 3 WR's last season, but, you have obviously missed the tape of him not just running, but BURNING past Aaron Ross from Texas and Leon Hall from Michigan at least 2 or 3 times last season. That's Aaron Ross and Leon Hall that are first round draft picks this season and supposed "SHUT DOWN" DB's! Ginn will be a WR with the Dolphins and will stretch the field better than anything we've seen around here since the days of Duper and Clayton. The fact that he can break a PR on each and every return is purely a bonus. But trust me, Ginn is not solely a SP player.

Wait so does that mean every single guy sitting at the desk on camera during the ESPN coverage yesterday is a whiny complaining know-it-all too? Mel Kiper, Ron Jaworski, Chris Berman, Keyshawn Johnson, Steve Young, every single one of those guys were JUST as shocked as us fans, and pretty vocal and displeased with it. And they DO have the "J.O.B.S." you speak of.

IDK about everyone else, but most of my anger comes not from passing on Quinn (some of it definately does, but the majority of that is shock not anger) but it comes from passing on Quinn to draft Ginn too high, when he ISN'T a #1 WR in the NFL, and he is STILL only 75%, four months later, and will miss the mini camp already in a few weeks. I think if we passed on Quinn for Landry, or even Willis, or to move down and take a CB or a different WR, people wouldn't be AS outraged. It's part passing on Quinn and part who we took instead.

And to whoever said the people complaining will be the ones cheering when he returns a punt or catches a TD pass, yeah, of COURSE, because we are fans of the team and need to support the team and it's player, no matter how much we disagree. Just because I cheer if Ginn scores a punt return TD doesn't mean I still don't disagree with taking him at #9. We could have found a return specialist in the other 6 rounds, or in UDFA, and there were plenty of WRs in round 2 that we could have taken to compliment Quinn, Sidney Rice for example runs a 4.3something 40, and he DOES run great routes and is effective all over the field, not just on deep stuff.

Also, nobody here ever claimed to know it all. The shock and outrage comes because we were made to believe, by Cam, Randy, the front office, and then all the scouts and experts and analysts, that Quinn was the guy for us. Cam and Randy (mostly Randy) talked about moving up, and Cam talked about Quinn a lot, and our QBs coached raved about him after workign with him in Arizona before the combine, all talks from both inside and outside the organization were about Quinn being our guy if he was there, and even maybe trading up for him, and then he falls right into our laps and we don't have to give up a THING to get him, and we pass. Has nothing to do with us fans thinking we know it all, it has to do with the organization leading us one way and then going the complete opposite way.

BTW, who the hell is going to throw to Ginn? Chris Chambers is a Pro Bowl WR and he couldn't do a thing last year with Culpepper, Harrington, or Lemon, so why is the undersized injured rookie Ginn going to be so special when he has proven NOTHING against NFL DBs?

Yes - a special teams player. Didn't you here Cam's speech? Did he tout him as a great route runner? No. Did he tout him as a deep threat that will get unleashed as the new #1 WR? No. What he said was, he is a very special punt and kick returner. So I suggest you pay attention before you start telling others that which they do and do not know.

Ginn will be the #4 WR in a 5 WR rotation -that is not what I call good value in the #9 pick.

Also - he wouldn't even get off the line with Madison or Surtain lined up in his face.

Oh yah - what about his route running ability? 3 total and those are all average at best. All the guy is is fast - period. Blazing fast yes, but being a successful WR in the NFL requires more than just speed - can you say Ron Brown?

Now - will he be a threat? On special teams - yes. As a WR, I think it will be easy to defend him? - I see Champ Bailey eating his lunch and charging him for it.

But, he is a Fin, and with the #9 pick, he will command a huge portion of our salary cap. Here's hoping it works out.
