Just wondering if all of those that are already doubting the coaching ability of Saban will be willing to come back on here and eat crow in a year or two when we are competing in the playoffs and even more so when we win a SB in the next five years. My guess is the same group that wrote Ronnie off, are the ones writing Nick off already. I know the BB going 5-11 analogy has been done to death, but it really does take even a great coach a year or two to get their team in place and just as rookie players take a while to get NFL ready, coaches go through the same learning curve. I really believe that Nick has success written all over him, and if we are just supportive and patient we will see great rewards in the next few years. I would love to be among the league leaders in wins this year and I am disappointed that we are not, but to me it feels great that we have a coach with enough ability that we can expect a lot from him even in his first year. Imagine what expectations would be if Wanny was still here. I really believe that the new Dolphins Dynasty is on the verge of beginning and that Nick is gonna lead us there! Anybody with me?

In like Flynn!

I agree with you whole-heartedly...

People tend to forget we were 4-12 and looking PATHETIC in the process last season. We had plenty of holes to fill. Now, people are bashing Saban because after 9 games into him regime we are '1 Quarterback and cornerback away'? Do people realize that only to be in those needs after 1 draft/free-agency is already HUGE on Saban's part? HUGE!

Sure, I'm pissed when we loose like we did the past two sunday's, but I put it in perspective that it's the Falcons and Pats and we are in our 9th game of a pathetic season last year!

It's good to be patient sometimes!
I know people like to live in the 'now', but it's not always like that!

Later all!

:rofl3:
During that game I was as nervous as a nine tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs!

Forgot to mention the fact that we are in great cap position next year whether it turns out to be 15 or 25 under. Either of those is plenty to fill our holes. We are in for some dominant years to come!

BFISHUSI -

Dont sweat it, you know and I know, when Saban turns the talent, and execution, and finally the win/loss record around each and everyone of the naysayers will be coming out of the woodwork and they will all be saying the same thing.

"Yeah, that first year was up and down, some good things and necessary things were done for the betterment of the franchise. Saban did exactly what was necessary. We all knew is was only a matter of time. Saban is a great NFL HC."

blah, blah, blah.....the definition of bandwagon fans - the scoreboard is their only measuring stick!

You know what, I am with you. I am a fan of the Miami Dolphins just like the rest of you are. I see no separation between none of the posters here.
There is no glory when you cheer alone.

I have a problem when you try to lump people who question some of the playcalling decisions as those who thought Ronnie was a bust. That is just totally wrong.

Didn't mean to lump them together. I guess my point was it is the same kind of shortsightedness that many used to measure Ronnie early in the year that I feel some are using in measuring Nick.

Bro, love the spirit - really I do.............. but it's ridiculous to sit here and tell people they're ridiculous for thinking Nick Saban won't succeed when you're predicting playoffs and SuperBowls admidst how poorly they're playing now.

"I really believe Nick has success written all over him,"
"I really believe that the new Dolphins Dynasty is on the verge of beginning"

............. Great man, people believe alot of things that aren't absolute truths. There are also sports media members who don't believe Saban has the temperment to succeed with players in the NFL. Besides this so-called "coaching learning curve," what is it Nick Saban is doing that leads you to be believe we're absolutely going to have a dynasty on our hands? Is it the penalties? Is it all the dropped passes? Where's all this discipline that was supposed to have been installed on this team? I mean the guy doesn't even have the guts to over-rule his offensive signal caller when he gets away from the running game when its dominating or when he wants to throw 2 successive jump balls into the sun making it nearly impossible for the WR to locate the pass.

It would be so much better if you guys would refrain from these high school pep rally posts and roll with this team week to week. The only people on this earth who think the Dolphins are a lock for another Dynasty, after having seen their performances this year, is a lone few Dolphin fans posting on a Dolphins fan site.

People simply and rightly so asked the question, Is Caddy better than Ronnie? They used the word bust to get your attention and in many other cases...the repliers introduced the word bust.

The ones you are calling rediculous for saying we are a lock for being the next dynasty are no more rediculous than the ones like you who constatly harp on the doomsday theory so early in the process. Like the truckload of idiots that told Ronnie Brown's "certain" NFL future, it's way too early to tell Saban's coaching future as well. It won't stop people like you however.

You are consistent I'll give you that and based on how glaringly wrong most if not all of your previous posts have been, I'll take great solice that you are on the Saban is a bust bandwagon.
