I dont care if Ronnie Brown wears a Crusty the Clown mask on his dome as long as he gains big yards!!!!!!

Hypothetically...

This falls totally into the hypothetically catagory. Whatever - go with it.

How freak'n scary would it be if a team...

A) all wore dark visors so you really couldn't see any of their faces?
B) and nobody said a single word to their opponents throughout the entire game?

I've always wondered how things like this might or might not affect the opposing team.

How much can psychology help determine the outcome of a game?

Especially with R&R splitting carries. Come 4th quarter and Ronnie's only had it 12 times, those tired@ss defenders are going to get trampled like a tourist in Pamplona(obscure reference to the annual "running of the bulls" in Spain)

:roflmao:

Ok, I've got an "ad" idea for ya.

Instead of the, "You just won the SB, what are you going to do next?" cutting to a shot of that particular MVP smiling stupidly with the Magic Kingdom castle in the background...

"You just got your a$$es mowed over by R&R and the 'Fins, what are you going to do next?" cutting to a shot of the plug-defenders-names-here running for their lives in the streets of Pamplona and having one of them turn to the guy next to him, smile and say something like, "Man, I really needed this vacation after that game with Miami!"

that's like the old study that revealed dark uniformed teams dominated light uniformed teams

psychology is definitely a factor

It's about the helmet face shield that covers the front of the helmet so the opposition doesn't know where you're looking

Well, yes. That's correct. But :o I didn't start the thread with that in mind.

However, maybe it won't matter whether teams know where Ronnie's looking or not. They won't stop him either way.

Also, if they can't see your eyes... you can't "sell" or fake a false route or whatever.

I've never played organized sports, but I can really imagine that deception/misdirection/etc really is a BIG PART of the game.
