I don't know about you, but I would go ballistic if Hargreaves or Myles Jack is on the board and Miami picks OL.

I definitely understand where you are coming from but I can see another side to this. If you believe that Tannehill is at least servicable and you look at both sides of the ball. I think a good argument can be made that OL is the main thing holding this team back offensively. Sure we could use better TEs..But outside of OL we are pretty much set on offense.

Whereas the Defense requires several pieces! Thus logic says grab that one piece that shores up one side of the ball!

Now, what i seriously hope is that we shore up the Offensive side of the ball during the FA period and use the draft heavily for our Defensive talent.
 
get your guard and your 3rd tackle in free agency...put all your eggs in the early portion of the draft in the d

There are good options available at G in free agency... We need impact defenders in the draft. Hargraeves/Smith/Ramsey/Jack or bust
 
We sign an OT that needs to improve his overall strength? Sounds vaguely familiar.
 
Is McShay ever close to what actually happens?
 
He has Nkemdiche going at three after was just happened.. don't see that and if we pass on a CB for OL I would be equally upset..
 
Glad to see him have that as he is mostly certainly always wrong

and didn't he have us picking 28th in his "way too early" draft? SIGH

If Nkemdiche isn't smart enough to stay away from the same **** that his brother almost died from recently, a team is not picking him 3rd overall. Could end up like Dion Jordan
 
An OG is one spot. A 1st round MLB is impactful in many spots. He can direct the defense, individually affect the runner and get to the qb. A very good MLB is way better than an OG. We have 3 solid O lineman, and zero solid LBers. especially MLB
