Tom Brady and Jason Taylor have met so many times in the backfield over the years. Too many times, from Brady’s perspective. That’s why Brady openly admitted again on Wednesday that he’s been trying (and failing) to get JT to New England for years.“I’ve always tried to get Jason to the Patriots,” Brady said on a conference call with South Florida reporters. “I’ve had a great relationship with him over the years, and we always joke. I’m tired of playing against him. He’s been awesome to watch over the years as a player. I remember when he won Defensive Player of the Year [in 2006] and what he did to the opposing offenses, both in pass coverage, intercepting passes and running them back for touchdowns.”Taylor, of course, leads all active players with 132.5 sacks, tied with Lawrence Taylor and Leslie O’Neal for eighth-most in NFL history. Of those, 10.5 have come against Brady, more than double JT’s total against any other active quarterback.“He’s an explosive player,” Brady said, “and I think he hasn’t slowed down to me at all. He still gets after the quarterback. He strip-sacked us last year playing for the Jets. He makes those big-time type of plays. He’s someone you always have to worry about because he’s experienced, he’s got great ability, got great talent.“And the thing I think is underrated about him is his effort. I mean he plays hard on every single play. He never takes a play off and he’s always after the ball. When he’s in there, we’re always on high alert for him and where he’s at because he’s a great player.” http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...gain-to-lure-jason-taylor-to-new-england.html

Wouldn't expect Brady to say anything different. I do believe he is genuine in what he says, and I hope JT can live up to that description as we will need it this year to be successful.

They respect each other. They always speak highly of one another. How sweet would it be for another meeting on Monday night in the backfield?

Tom stop sending me naked photos of yourself. I am not coming to the pats.

Good. I hope they roll pass protection to JT and leave Wake one on one

Tom: "I was surprised JT didn't come join us. I mean, he was willing to become a Jet, so I figured hey, what would stop him from becoming part of another cheating AFC East franchise with douche fans? I mean sure, Bill wasn't going to suck on his toes like Rex did, but I offered to Argentinian tango with him from time to time..."
