He has 2 Super Bowl rings. He brings havoc to Bill Belicheat all the time. He's coached Eli Manning a future Hall of Famer his entire career. Ryan Tannehill can learn so much from Tom. Odell is very similar to Jarvis as they both train together during the offseason and both went to LSU. His defense is a 4-3, Miami is trying to embody exactly how he runs his schemes. Dan Campbell can be an assistant head coach to him, learn the ropes from a true great and possibly take over in the future when Tom wants to officially Retire. This makes perfect sense. Why Adam Gase? He was with Jay Cutler who is a roller coaster QB and didn't enter the playoffs. In Denver Peyton Manning runs the Offense the way he wants. I've said in previous posts I bleed aqua and orange. I'm trying to bring the winning mentality back to our Fan Base. I am tired of hearing by every Dolphin fan "Well, we always have next year" No thanks this is the year. Hire Tom Coughlin you never know who he can bring as his OC and DC. Mike Shanahan can be a great OC since he knows how to groom QB's. Ross wants a winning team and will pay top dollar.

Id prefer Coughlin over Gase. Especially with the caveat that Campbell will take over one day. However, Shanahan will never be an OC at this point. That being said, it sounds like Gase is our top choice and that is puzzling to me.

Gase, as has been reported, is Ross's top choice...maybe not Tannenbaum's.

Highzenga how do we as a fan base get to Ross? Green Bay as a great Fan Base and the Organizaion listens to them, and look how the Packers have been doing in the Playoffs. Mediocrity is not my best trait.

Unfortunately, we can't make Ross do anything. In Green Bay, the fans basically own the team. I actually don't think that Ross is a horrible owner. He means well and is willing to spend money. I just think a guy like Coughlin is a safe hire. We haven't made the playoffs since 2008. We have some talent. Maybe coughlin can right the ship at least for now. There isn't really any candidate that jumps off the page for me

Tom Coughlin hasn't come out and said whether he'd like to coach this year.

I say the man deserves a break, but I don't know. I'd definitely take him here.

True, We just need leadership on this team like Carolina. They have so many leaders in the locker room that's why their record is 15-1. I like Dan Campbell he has the support from his players, but lacks the experience. The X's and O's that Coughlin understands very well.

I have no idea why he'd want to continue coaching from the ground up in a whole new city. He's from NY. It's his home. He's coached there 12 years and won two championships. That franchise is everything to him. He might make comments like he still wants to coach because he's fired up from being let go, but give it a few weeks and I don't see him really committed to build something new.

Well if hiring Coughlin is a no brainer, we have the perfect brainless owner for that.

He got fired because Reese left the cupboard bare. Reese was the one that should have been fired. Think he comes here where the front office has been a revolving door?Look for a on the cusp playoff team to go after him.

Depending on how a coach views Tannehill....with Landry and Parker...a Coughlin might view this as a good spot.

Despite past mistakes.

We don't know what Coughlin thinks of Tannenbaum.

Would love him but hearing little from him during a week of intense interviewing is curious.

Coughlin is too old, plus he has been very inconsistent

If Ross was the Giants owner he would have been fired years ago

The NY press has been writing about firing him almost every year that he's been there.
