I'm actually going to see Marino tomorrow for an autograph session he is having tomorrow at the Carousel Mall, if anyone knows that mall. In case you don't it's a mall in Syracuse, NY, which is only about a half hour from where I live. I got a ticket for Christmas from my sister,who is a Dolphin fan of course, and is actually responsible for getting me to like Miami, which not to long after they became my favorite team. Even though it will be a long wait in line, of course. However, from where I live, Marino stopping down could be a something that won't happen againg in a long time if ever, and for it to not be that far away either.

I believe it was like fifteen years ago that Marino came to the Carousel before, but I think it was probably even longer back. I'll bring my camera so that a picture can be taken as well. There might not be much to write, but if there is, I'll write a report of how the day went if anyone cares. I was just wanted to share this. And if anyone can tell me how there experience was with autograph sessions with Marino would be nice as well. It would be nice to here your input as well, so I have an idea what it might be like, or if Marino is nice, a jerk (which I hope not) etc.
 
Ive never met Dan but I have heard hes a great guy but Ive also heard hes a jerk. I guess after signing items for an hour i'd be getting a little cranky too though. Have fun man. Thats an experience you will never forget.

Never met the man so I don't have anything to add to that. Should be a good time, though. Enjoy it, and bring a spare Sharpie just in case his runs out. :D
 
Ah the Carousel Mall, which was supposed to be Destiny USA, but that wont ever happen.

I used to live in Syracuse, grew up there actually. I saw all the billboards they had for Dan's arrival when I was home for Xmas. I wanted to go, but alas I'm back in Chicago.

Have fun man, I hear he's an awesome guy.
 
yes i have gone to an autograph in my town in NY and dan was def the man, i gotta a football and an old school mini helmet signed......the best part though was that i got to stay after the autograph session and talk to marino for a while because im friends with the manager of the store and actually now i work there, but anyways this happened this season during our bye week and i was mainly just talking to dan about what was going on so far in the season and what we needed so fix up on and it was def an awesome experience. i could never imagine dan being an a hole like people have said, i mean my experience was def a great one soo im sure youll be excited and have a great time cltchperf!

Cool....I have never met Dan either.....better have him sign some Isotoner gloves while you are at it. :wink:
 
I wish I had known about this earlier...I've got in-laws in Syracuse and could have given them something to get signed:boohoo:
