So far after 3 1/2 ........Terrible. Out gained in very major category.

I'd say we learned a lot...some of it very promising, some areas we really need to improve on

We got no Depth on D is what we have learned. not to mention Drop Masta Wilford is on THIN ICE!

Um what did you expect? We had some very good bright spots, we were 1-15 last year were playing against TAMPA BAY who is a VERY good NFL team. There defense was top 5 last year and will be better this year..

RIcky run up them, Henne looked good against the second team. Didnt look scared like John has over the last games.

Its PREASON game one! Calm down lol some people..

Were a .500 team were not super bowl contenders. Its only going to get better. I see some bright spots.

1-15 team vs a playoff team.

All in all, they did okay.

Terrible? To me.. it looks like QBs and WR are really the questions that need to be answered. Our D is really coming together.

Bucs managed to score 17 points on us... but come on, the offense was sputtering. The time of possession differential was 4 to 2.5. They had the ball almost twice as long as we did and our young guys were able to keep a VERY GOOD Bucs team to only 17 points, I say that's a positive.

I really think we're very close to being complete. If Chad's accuracy can help our young receivers catch the ball our offense will actually be kicking on all five gears (Ginn, Brown, Willford, Williams, and Pennington). The O-Line was really impressive tonight.

People complain about Pennington's arm... and not being able to throw the long ball... I would kill for his short completions to keep the chains moving and give our defense a rest from time to time.

I am getting more optimistic every day!

Side note - It is getting more clear (and not for sure) that McCown and or Beck need to go. I would say get rid of Beck that way we have a more experience back up while we groom Henne. In fact, I hope Pennington does good enough to start the following season too! That way we can draft a QUALITY QB that'll give Henne a run for him money... anyone else think that if Beck ends up being a bust we're kinda just handing the team to Henne without having him prove himself?

Looking at the box score, even more impressive is the fast that our first defense actually shut down the Bucs first team... that's impressive considering we have Poter and Holliday out.
