Dolphins coach Tony Sparano says he’s not ready to panic with his team at 0-4, noting that he’s been in worse situations before.“As a head coach I’ve been in this situation a few times, not necessarily only as a head coach,” Sparano said. “I was 0-5 with Marty Schottenheimer in Washington. That’s a hard place to be 0-5. No place is good. We won our last eight of whatever it was.”

Good grief what a bumbling idiot.

0-4 = Not panicked

0-5 = Bad place to be

Not much of a difference there.

Well Schottenheimer was a good coach who could win 8 games after starting out 0-5. Sparano isnt on that level and never will be.

A complete idiot.

Just more lip service from the coaching staff of the Dolphins. Sadly, we have all been accustomed to hearing this.

Yah I wouldn't be panicking either if Ross extended me millions to be his lame duck

Dude just doesn't get it. The last sentence in the article says it all.

So its good to know that you have been a loser often Tony...If you dont panic at 0 - 5 are you gonna panic at 0 and 6?

Count on Miami losing at least one more game.

Why do I always feel like burying my head every time he speaks. From Wanny, to Bates, to Saban, to Cameron, and not Sparano.. why is it every coach we've had here in the past 10 years sound like morons. Can we find a coherent coach, who can actually sound somewhat intelligent, who doesn't make redundant football references, and actually seems like someone worthy of the responsibility?

Seems like we're always hiring guys who are in way over their heads.

Did you notice that when your team is winning your head coach sounds like a genius..

When he is losing he sounds like a bafoon.

Well we have done alot of losing the past 15 years so, all our coaches sound stupid.

Absolutely notice that.. but I've never thought any of them sounded uniquely intelligent with the exception of Saban.

Agree. Maybe they need to turn the Davie facility into some kind of military boot camp or something and hire a Marine drill Sergeant instead of another dribbling idiot with no fire inside.
