The
Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano may be defiant in response to the many questions surrounding why he hasn't already been fired after the South Florida team started the season 0-3—as Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald details in his
latest article—but as far as I'm concerned he has no reason whatsoever to be. Instead, he should be humbled and conciliatory, and should be begging the fans forgiveness.
Of course, reading Jackson's article, and the quotes attributed to Sparano, it's easy to see the Dolphins coach doesn't really put the blame on himself for the team's failure. In fact, he doesn't seem to place the blame on anyone.
As far as I can discern, the only personnel moves that need to be made are the firing of general manager Jeff Ireland and the aforementioned Sparano. Of course, according to most sources, that isn't likely to happen at all. In fact, according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald in one of his
latest articles, there's almost no chance Sparano is going to be fired soon.
I think I speak for most Dolphins fans in asking owner Stephen Ross of this likelihood, HUH?
