There are reasons for hope below. The Dolphins are mostly (not counting veterans like Cam Wake and Mario Williams, the latter of whom should soon be gone) an inexperienced, ascending roster.
Here is The Daily Dolphin’s Top 10 Miami Dolphins under 25:
- Jarvis Landry, WR, 24 years old — Worthy of that contract extension.
- Jay Ajayi, RB, 23 years old — Led the NFL in broken tackles.
- Ja’Wuan James, OT, 24 years old — Very strong recovery from slow start.
- Laremy Tunsil, T/G, 22 years old — Very impressive debut season.
- DeVante Parker, WR, 23 years old — So, so much athleticism and potential.
- Kenny Stills, WR, 24 years old — Terrific deep threat; but the 3rd WR on list.
- Xavien Howard, CB, 23 years old — The Miami corner most likely to succeed.
- Jordan Phillips, DT, 24 years old — Inconsistent but skilled enough to move higher.
- Kenyan Drake, RB, 22 years old — Slight edge over Damien Williams due to KR’s.
- Tony Lippett, WR, 24 years old — The Miami corner with a crazy ceiling.
Also considered: Damien Williams, RB, 24; Bobby McCain, CB, 23; Matt Darr, P, 24.
