Did you ever think that you would hear Miami Dolphins are a top-10 NFL offense in 2008?? I didn't. It might be the bottom of the top-10, but it is what it is. Great job by a group that wasn't given much of a chance to succeed by anyone outside the lockeroom!

and 8 in total defense giving up only 223 ypg and 7th in scoring defense giving up only 18.5 ppg

ahhhhhhh, when u control the clock and keep the offense on the field, u expect to see that . . . great feeling.

Falcons at 8 is pretty surprising also

Got to give them credit though. Mike Smith came from Jacksonville and wanted to do a power running game. Even though he's scum, Bobby Patrino did give him the offensive line he needed as he was building towards power. They went out and signed Michael Turner (who is a tank), and they have one of the most underrated WRs in the NFL in Roddy White.

Although if you look at the stats, they're not having Ryan throw the ball that much. That's where the difference between Smith and Patrino comes in. Patrino tried to get too fancy with his offense (and his players hated him). Smith has kept it pretty simple.
