I was watching NFL network last night and they had the top 10 NFL worst college to pro coaches in the history of the league.

Number 7 was Saban (and a gift at that spot). If anyone saw it you saw Jim Mandarich just completely blast Saban the entire segment. Some paraphrasing; "if he and Saban were in the same room they would be throwing down", "hes a little girl", "He is the worst excuse for a man he has ever encountered",

Of course Petrino got the top spot. Saban definately should have been in the top 3 though

i think the prgram name was coach who belong in college

and have saban like 7 and bobby petrino in 1 one because this are the top liers in nfl history

also have a jets coach in the 2 spot hahahahaha

I know.. ha, I forgot his name though. Saban should have been top 3 the POS

Spurrier was 3

sounds about right. i remember when he left UF - and grossman pretty much out to dry - and just started picking up every UF scrub that was struggling in the league. all of us just knew he was going to flop, and flop huge. makes me sick that florida didn't take him back.

No, acutally the title was correct "Top 10 worst college to pro coaches"
I think the reason why Saban was as high on the list is because he actually had a decent first year. We all hate him because of the way he left us, but in reality he wasn't that bad of a coach.

I saw that as well and I would have to agree with Mandarich. After seeing that show, it seemed to me as though Petrino and Saban aren't really all that different.

Ha, they said that in the segment, how he filled the team with UF players who werent talented.

Manadarich was just completely tearing him up. It was one of the funniest segments I have seen on those top 10 shows. I think Saban should have been below alot of those guys though, just cause hes a snake... (oh yeah, Mandarich called him that too)

i imagine LOU HOLTZ had to be towards the top
in that mix.

GREAT college coach, seems like he was born for the
position, but.....

his 1 year gig with the JETS wasnt even laughable it
was so pathetic. definately one of the worst college
to nfl experaments EVER!!

I hoe Cameron was # 2...if not I want a recount :sidelol:

yup. for a smart guy and great coach he sure made some bone head decisions when coming into the NFL. never understood that. i remember when analysts would talk about his new regime, they wouldn't know what to say. lots of awkward pauses and weird looks. too bad. :(

I loved it when they showed the "fake spike" play by Marino and said how Carroll's Jets never won another game after. :-)
