Question. Who would you rather see as the top three wideouts on gameday? Wallace, Gibson, Hartline? Or Wallace, Gibson, Landry. I think Wallace needs to be on the field due to his speed. Defenses have to account for him. Same is true for Clay with mismatches. But I think in this WC style offense if Hartline can't catch the ball more consistently it may be better to have Landry on the field. This offense has a lot of quick passes and shorter routes, a drop on second and 7 or 8 may lead to punts. Look at NE's wideouts, predicated on making shorts catches and getting yac. Welker, Amendola, Edelman, Gronk. All are hands guys. Part of the reason Brady's completion percentage is so high, and they have so many 12 and 14 play drives.

Hartline has way better hands than Wallace & he makes an attempt on 50/50 balls.

Wallace, Hartline and Gibson.

Though Landry gets a lot of playing time as the #4. I think Landry will have a great career.

I wish badly we could find a trade partner for Wallace.

I would love Gibson Mathews and Landry as the top 3 just for all three of their hearts. Wallace plays with zero heart.

Landry will be in the top 3 in no time. He's just too good not to.

His ability to adjust to wherever the ball is, is Insane. He's extremely polished, and I have no doubt someone will be losing Targets to him.

Agreed. I don't even think Hartline is a top receiver right now.

Welker?? Last I looked he's on Denver. I get your point though. We're going to be mixing and matching a lot of packages. Wallace probably will always be on the field. Landry will be a star for our team for many years. Hartline doesn't drop many balls so I wouldn't be concerned there. I trust Lazer to have the right players deployed at the right times. That puts mucho pressure on the D.

wallace looked good last night.. The 14yd comeback will be there all year if the pass protection holds.
Hartline is the one who gets scared in the middle of the field.
Ill take Wallace Hartline Gibson though..
I think we can rotate all 5 wrs and not see to much of a drop off

From what I have seen and heard, Matthews has played better than Landry this preseason.

People sleep on Matthews…he showed well last year when given the opportunity and has played very well in camp and preseason this year. I would have Matthews in over Hartline in the RZ but they won't do that...

So far, L:andry caught 4 passes for 45 yards, with a very nice catch vs Dallas, and has punched his ticket for stardom. Matthews caught 5 for 83, with a VG TD, and will be lucky to make the team.

Go figure.

Everyone likes a shiny new toy. I mean I like Landry…I think he will be a good player. I think Matthews is just as physical though…maybe not a shifty but has better long speed and plays big. Whats in Landry's favor is that Matthews has been here for what 3 years now…he should outperform the rookie. That Landry has closed the gap that quick is a good sign for him.

Gibson is better than both as of right now…he is straight up money on 3rd down. Chain mover

I thiink you are overstating that. There were rumors of him being in the doghouse, but based on TC and PS performance...Matthews is not only making this team, but may be pushing for a starting spot.

I do like Hartline, but as a 5....not as a 2.

Wallace, Gibson, Matthews, Landry, then Hartline.

Hartline was a 2 when we had no talent at WR.....not anymore.
