Top 5 Defense? Top 10?

The defense is ranked 4th in the league in terms of yards, andf 9th in points. We have some great players on defense, and some very solid players. Will Allen is really underrated. The difference yesterday was...all of those dropped picks in the secondary, and missed Fumble opportunities, that would happen in previous games...were taken advantage of yesterday. They actually held on to the ball! And STILL they dropped a few picks! Another thing we saw, which happens in every game, is they're ability to not let anything take them down mentally. TWICE on 4th down we committed penalties to give them the first down. And still we came back and stopped em.
And jason taylor was a man-beast as usual.

This was also pretty much the 1st time this season that the D really stepped up when it mattered. Chicago had some opportunities to seize the momentum, and the D wouldn't let it happen.

^Very good observation. I totally agree. There were times that the Bears could've gotten back into it, but the defense was just hell-bent on not letting that happen. The D was AWESOME yesterday.
 
I agree our defence showed that they are a dominate one. My only responce is why can't we do this every week. We showed against the bears that we are a super bowl caliber team but with as many mistakes as we make it becomes impossible. But this game showed the critics to back off our football team the the boys are back in town.
